Sidney Crosby (1,277 GP) became the fifth-fastest player in NHL history to reach the 1,600-point milestone, following Wayne Gretzky (667 GP), Mario Lemieux (812 GP), Marcel Dionne (1,164 GP) and Jaromir Jagr (1,274 GP).
