Comedian Anthony Jeselnik was in Halifax back in August for the Great Outdoors Comedy Show. After his time in our city he was talking about the experience on his Jeselnik-Rosenthal Vanity Project (JRVP) Podcast. He has exceptionally complimentary things to say about Halifax. Good people, good times…but the clip from the show that bounced around (and was sent to me by more than a couple buds) was his take on the Halifax Explosion of 1917.
He’s not totally wrong. Halifax does talk about the explosion a bunch, but they’re memorials. You’re seeing tributes around the town.
The clip of course if part of a much larger show where he does speak complimentary about Halifax. It’s a good watch.
