A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a crash in Dartmouth that shut down traffic in the area for a period of time.
Police say the collision happened at the intersection of Portland Street and Highway 111 around 4:45 p.m. last Friday.
The driver and passenger of a car involved in the crash were not hurt. However, the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with what police say are serious injuries.
The 37-year-old rider has since been issued several tickets, including for driving without a valid licence, a valid motor vehicle inspection (MVI), or registration.
