A big investment from all three levels of government into two new homes that will provide safe housing for eight youth in Lower Sackville.
MLA Braeden Clark says $6 million will go to Chisholm Services for Children.
Chisholm has supported more than 2,600 children since it began in 1972.
Clark says it helps young people stay connected to their community and have a place of hope and healing.
““Our Government is focused on delivering housing for Nova Scotians and people across the country. Supporting the Chisholm Foundation for Children’s project is one of the ways we do that. I’m proud of our involvement in this project, and of the meaningful difference it will make in the lives of so many in our community,” says Clark.
Chisholm House says they are humbled from the investment to make sure children have a safe and stable home today and for years to come.
“It truly does take a community to raise a child,” says Chisholm.
