The RCMP has lifted an emergency alert after a man with a machete was on the loose in Gaetz Brook.
The first alert went out around 8 last night.
Just before 9 p.m., police said the man was last seen on Petpeswick Drive, near Musquodoboit Harbour.
A final alert was sent around 11 p.m.
Police said there was no longer any risk to public, but officers would stay in the area as they searched for the man.
No word yet if police found the suspect.
