The heavy rain continues Friday morning for much of the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia.
Environment Canada still has rain warnings in place, with totals reaching between 40 and 60 mm of rain.
They say it will taper off throughout the day from west to east, but 5 to 10 mm could fall an hour in some places.
That rain will not be so bad for most of Cape Breton, where they only have special weather statements in place.
However, part of Inverness County will wrestle with wind warnings and gusts that could reach up to 100 km/h.
They say watch out for pooling water on the roads and low visibility.
