Three people are dead after a devastating house fire in Lower Sackville.
RCMP say it was just before 4 a.m., Saturday, when emergency crews responded to the blaze on Manor Drive.
When crews arrived, they were unable to enter the home because of conditions that were “too intense” due to smoke.
Once firefighters were able to enter the home, three adults were taken out.
Emergency crews tried to save their life but all of them succumbed to their injuries.
They include one man, 43, and two women who were 38 and 73.
Condolences are staring to pour in.
Councillor for Lower Sackville/Beaver Bank Billy Gillis says in a statement that his heart is broken by the tragedy.
“My deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims,” says Gillis. “My heart goes out to the residents of Sackville Manor and to the first responders who attended the scene.”
No word on what caused the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
