No construction or renovation work was damaged after a fire at the historic Halifax Armory.
The fire broke out early morning last Thursday, forcing crews to shut down streets around the nearly 130-year-old building for several hours while searching for the source of the blaze.

Fire officials say they had to rip out ceilings and walls during their work, but according to the Department of Natural Defense Fire Services, it was not in the area where renovations are being done.
The Armory is currently undergoing a $160 million rehabilitation that the federal government says, will happen in two phases and is expected to be completed by 2029.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
