A 31-year-old woman from Eastern Passage was seriously hurt when she was hit by a car in a cross walk on Thursday.
It happened at 7:30 a.m. on Cow Bay Road, according to RCMP.
They say a Volkswagen Jetta was travelling east when it hit the woman, who was crossing at Hornes Road.
The woman was seriously hurt and taken to hospital.
The driver, a 20-year-old woman, did not report any injuries, police say.
The investigation continues.
