Two men are facing a slew of charges after a about a dozen bikes, scooters and other items were found at Halifax property.
Police say they seized the items Wednesday night on Barrington Street:
• Loaded sawed-off shotgun
• Unloaded sawed-off shotgun
• Unloaded .22 rifle
• Ammunition
• Hatchet
• Spear
• OC spray
• Drug paraphernalia
• 12 bikes/frames
• 3 e-bikes
• 1 e-scooter
• Bike parts
• 2 generators
• 7 sets of power tools
• 1 safe
• Cash
This, after roughly 40 bikes, scooters and other parts were found at the same location, June 22.
The suspects aged 45 and 31 are set to appear in court at a later date facing these charges:
• Possession of stolen property over $5,000
• Unsafe storage of a firearm
• Possession of weapons dangerous to public peace
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized
• Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition (loaded)
• Tampering with serial no. on firearm
• Store firearm or restricted weapon contrary to regs
• Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
• Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
