One person is in custody after barricading themself in a home in Lower Sackville.
RCMP and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded to a situation on Boxwood Crescent involving a possibly armed person inside a home on Sunday night.
Just before 11 p.m., police said there was no immediate threat to anyone outside the home.
Officers closed Boxwood Crescent to traffic and asked people to avoid the area to allow them to do their work.
In an update shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, RCMP said the person was in custody and investigators would remain on the scene.
