Now that we are in wildfire season, Parks Canada along with the NS Department of Natural Resources and Renewables and local fire prevention advocates want to help community members learn ‘simple actions’ that increase resiliency to wildfires.
They are hosting an event at Kejimkujik National Park Seaside Monday afternoon.
The plan is to:
● Create an action plan to protect your home
● See the work done to protect Kejimkujik Seaside
● Meet fire prevention and response personnel in your community
The event runs 3-5 p.m., Tuesday, May 7.
