Halifax Regional Police are investigating a stabbing in the Fairview area.
Police say shortly before 3 a.m. Monday, officers responded to reports of an injured person on Evans Avenue where they found a 55-year-old man who had been stabbed inside a home.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say there is no suspect description at his time and the investigation is in its early stages.
