Facing financial pressure because of the wildfires?

The province launching a new Emergency Relief Grant for those in the HRM and Shelburne County that were affected.

To qualify, you must live or work in a mandatory evacuation zone, or were affected by business disruptions due to the wildfires.

Volunteer firefighters who had to take leave may also be eligible.

You could get up to $550 a week.
