A hold and secure was put in place for several Halifax schools yesterday.
It happened over the 1 o’clock hour, as Halifax Police had a presence in the Herring Cove Road and Greystone Drive area.
JL Ilsley, Elizabeth Sutherland, Herring Cove Jr. High, William King Elementary and Rockingstone Heights were affected.
Police say the schools were put in hold and secure as a precaution, and shortly after, the incident was resolved.
There was no threat to public safety.
