Before we get into the nitty gritty of this article, we’d just like to point out that we do not condone this in any way shape or form. However, with that said, apparently PETA is cool with wearing the faux lions noggin so I guess who cares what we think, right?
This all began with Kylie Jenner wearing a fake lions head on her dress to the Schiaparelli 2023 fashion show which is located at the Petit Palais in Paris. We’re bilingual so we’ve translated that it’s the small palace – in case you were wondering.
The thing looked ridiculous, but in terms of fashion – and we don’t pretend to be experts – it was regarded as bold, daring and innovative. In any case it got us thinking, because Kylie was clearly copying an 80’s icon, who wore it better – Kylie or James?

Alright, you know what, let’s just call it. James Earl Jones wins with ease. We’d also like to add that we hope this trend doesn’t catch on. Primarily because it potentially promotes harm to animals, secondly because it promotes using animals (dead, alive or fake) as fashion and thirdly because it looks elitist, illegal, ridiculous and just flat out morally wrong.
We’ll always approve of the promotion of James Earl Jones though.
