We’ve known it’s been coming for years – primarily because it’s been delayed for years.
Now the release is finally upon us and it definitely appears that wait may have been worth it. Top Gun: Maverick hits theatres May 24th, but they just gave us a first taste and it’s pretty damn epic.
They tie back in Val Kilmer as Iceman. They tie back in Anthony Edwards as Goose. It feels like there’ll be no stone left unturned.
The only remaining questions are, will they be able to work Tom Skerritt back in and if so – could his cameo ever measure up to his role in Ted?
Which then led to his amazing lone line…

Oh, right – Top Gun: Maverick!
This could be one of the more epic movies of the spring, if not the year.
…and we’re seriously pulling for some sort of Skerritt involvement.
