If you thought Cole Harbour’s own Nathan MacKinnon was the only reason to cheer for Colorado – you were wrong.

It seems like a bunch of different sports arenas and towns have made songs their own (ie. Boston Red Sox – Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, Chicago Cubs – Take Me Out to the Ballgame, St. Louis Blues – Gloria etc), but Colorado jumped on one of the biggest 90’s gem going and we love it!
That’s the key to making a song your own, you need to stake your claim as quickly as possible or all the epic tunes will be spoken for and you’ll be tabbed as a copycat.
We commend you Colorado and are behind you 100% – unless you play Sidney Crosby and the Penguins in the final. Then we have some tough decisions to make.
