3. Nova Scotia Taxes

Seriously, how can we be one of the smallest provinces and pay such a boat load for taxes!? Our province has one of the highest tax rates in all of Canada at 15%. Nova Scotia is tied with our Atlantic brothers New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and PEI at that rate. Every tax season stings these parts worse than a murder hornet.

2. Black Flies

How could we forget our Nova Scotian annual infestation!? Whether it be getting chased from the lake, into the lake, onto the lake or just while out and about, Black Fly Season is no joke. Is it as annoying as a Leafs fan though? Not really. Let’s try one more.

Let alone Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson – which can never seem to disappear from headlines – the Met Gala is getting mentioned every 0.3 seconds on Twitter right now. It’s as irritating as all hell.
