Dal students will spend with first month of next year at home on their laptops.
The university announced Thursday they would continue virtual classes until at least Jan 28. and residences will stay closed until Jan 29.
However, students who stayed in residence over the winter break will continue to live there.
Dalhousie has also stopped its on-campus asymptomatic testing, following changes announced by the province.
It’s unclear what impact this will have on unvaccinated students, who rely on the university’s rapid testing to access the campus.
