What an amazing day yesterday at the Halifax Commons for the Smash Out Hunger Softball Tournament for Shelter Nova Scotia.
It was so great to team up with our pals at Hot Country 103.5 for a day of belly laughs and uncontrolled tumbles. (Apparently co-ordination helps when playing baseball).
The score was better than expected dropping the first game 18-1, second 13-1 and then our 3rd game the bats came alive and we scored 15 runs!! (but lost 25-15!).
For a few hours it felt like we were all 18 again, today it feels like we are 80, but the weather was great and the cause was better.
Thanks to the organizers for a great day on the diamond!
