Surge 105 Presents The Rising Surge Battle Of The Bands
We’re giving Halifax’s finest up-and-coming Rock Bands a chance to compete in our third annual Rising Surge Battle of the Bands.
The Rising Surge will take place once a month at Montes Showbar Grill with the first rounds on May 30th, June 20th and July 11th.
Bands will battle it out in a round robin with each nightly winner taking home $500 and moving on to the Final Round on Friday, August 15, 2025.
The Winner of the Final Round will receive the $5,000 Studio Recording Session at Sonic Temple Peggy’s Cove and $1000 from Surge 105.

The Rising Surge Battle of the Bands is powered by Sonic Temple Peggy’s Cove, Montes Showbar Grill and Surge 105.
