UPDATE: 6 a.m. on Thursday, December 9th
All Halifax Regional Centre for Education Schools are closed.
—————————————————————————————————————–
The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) has sent out an advisory ahead of the storm.
It appears officials will close schools if we get the forecasted snow or at the very least a delayed opening for students.
“If Wednesday’s weather is as forecasted, we anticipate there being an impact on school opening.” – HRCE news release
HRCE will review an updated forecast on Wednesday at 5:00 a.m. before making any decisions about school cancellation.
If there is a cancellation, it will be shared in the following ways:
- Website at www.hrce.ca
- Twitter at @HRCE_NS
- Information Line at 902-464-INFO (4636)
- @HotCountry1035 @Surge105
- E-mail and text message notification.
HRCE will share their decision information as close to 6:00 a.m. as possible.
