Like Kiss and Eminem, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are branching out into films. The band shot a horror comedy in secret titled “Studio 666”. It is slated to open in theaters February 25th, 2022.
The movie centers on the Foo Fighters as they look to record a new album in an Encino mansion, only to find themselves fighting supernatural forces. Grohl sid it was in the vain as vintage ’60s and ’70s films that took some of the biggest bands on the planet and put them in over the top situations.
The movie will star the all of the Foo Fighters, as well as Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega and Jeff Garlin. Can’t wait till we get our first look at this one.
