A flag honouring those who went to residential schools was torn down from police headquarters in Halifax.
An employee first noticed the flag was gone and the flag pole was damaged on Saturday morning.
Video shows five people (four men and one woman) walking on Gottingen Street when one of the men in the group walks up the steps at the police station and tears the flag from the pole.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this incident or video from the area is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
