A man waiting at a McDonald’s drive-thru has injuries after an assault with a weapon on Wednesday.
Police were called to the restaurant on Herring Cove Road in Spryfield at around 10:30 a.m.
They say the suspect went up to a man who was sitting in his car, and hit him with a metal weapon. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are searching for the suspect, and are hoping you can help. He’s described as being white, about 25-35 years-old, standing 5’8″, with a thin build, and short dark hair.
The man was wearing a grey t-shirt, sunglasses, a mask, a light-coloured hat and pants. Investigators believe he took off in a dark coloured Ford Fusion.
Investigators are asking anyone with information contact police or Crime Stoppers.
