Snowfall is expected to hit most of Nova Scotia this weekend, as Environment Canada has issued weather warnings across most of the province.
Anywhere from 15 to 25 cm of wet, heavy snow is expected in Inverness County and Victoria County, beginning Saturday and continuing until Sunday morning. A mixture of snow and rain could fall near coastlines.
Late Sunday afternoon until Monday night, 10 to 20 cm of snow is expected to fall across the southwestern shore of the province, from Yarmouth to Halifax counties.
To begin the work week, much of central to eastern Nova Scotia along the Atlantic coast (Guysborough, Richmond, and Sydney Metro and Cape Breton Counties) can expect 10 to 20 cm of snow, with the possibility of more falling. It is expected to stop Tuesday morning.
