James Earl Jones died yesterday at his home in Upstate New York. He was 93 years old.
Some of his iconic roles were;
The voice of Darth Vader. An actor named actually wore the suit in the original trilogy. James was Paid $7,000 for the first “Star Wars”. At the time he thought it was good money.
The voice of Mufasa, “The Lion King” in both the original and the “live-action” remake.
King Jaffe Joffer, father of Prince Akeem, in “Coming to America” and the recent sequel.
Terence Mann in “Field of Dreams”.
He was also Bleeding Gums Murphy in “The Simpsons”
