Severe thunderstorm watch for Halifax

Halifax and some of central Nova Scotia could be in for a severe thunderstorm.

Environment Canada has issued a watch for late Sunday afternoon into the evening.

The forecaster says local downpours could happen, along with strong winds.

Hail could also accompany the storm.
