A 16-year-old boy was the victim of a homicide in Halifax.
Police identified the teen as Ahmad Maher Al Marrach.
It happened around 5 p.m. Monday in the parking garage of the Halifax Shopping Centre.
He died in hospital, an autopsy confirmed his death was a homicide.
Two youths were arrested, and released without charges earlier today.
Police say it’s not believed to be a random incident, and more information will be provided when available.
They say they’re aware of images and videos of the incident on social media, and ask people to not spread misinformation for the integrity of the investigation and out of respect for the victim’s family.
