Halifax Regional Police issuing 63 tickets over two days this week for speeding, distracted driving, and other related offences.
Officers with the traffic unit handed out the tickets on Wednesday and Thursday.
Twenty-five were issued for speeding, two for using a cell phone while driving, and 32 for other offences, including having no insurance and expired plates.
Police also charged four drivers with stunting. They say a 60-year-old man was given a more than $2,400 fine in one of the incidents after a vehicle was clocked travelling 110 km per hour in a 60 zone on Dunbrack Street.
Six points were assigned to his driving record, he has been suspended from driving for seven days, and his vehicle has been impounded.
Police reported on Wednesday they had handed out 30 tickets for speeding, distracted driving, and other related offences since Monday.
