The Premier of this province, Tim Houston, has found himself in hot water after some strange remarks he gave about Cape Breton declaring a state of emergency due to the excessive snow fall this past weekend:

Those comments quickly backfired, as people across the CBRM quickly fired back about what he said:
Don’t piss off an island of snowed in people @TimHoustonNS
The people got nothing better to do then to never let you live down a comment at the moment 😂This is my entertainment for the evening. pic.twitter.com/iCeKK4OsLC

Of course, he now finds himself in a position where he feels he needs to backtrack a bit on what he meant or said:

Regardless of what he meant or how he said it, can we get ‘Just a PR Stunt’ on a t-shirt?
The good news is that yes, more help is on the way:
Update on response to NS:@ParksCanada is sending heavy snow-clearing equip. and personnel to assist w/ snow removal from roads.@CoastGuardCAN will assist airlifting critical supplies & evacuation of at-risk individuals.@PSPC_SPAC is supporting contracting for snowploughs. pic.twitter.com/rJWR6NdKsV
