Halifax Regional Police say a 29-year-old man has now been charged with aggravated assault following a stabbing on Victoria Day.
Police responded to a weapons complaint involving an injured man in the 0-100 block of Old Sambro Road around 10 a.m. on Monday.
They say the man was found with with non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stab wound.
The suspect was arrested, and police reported on Monday they were not searching for anyone else.
The man has also been charged with assault with a weapon, threats, and possession of a weapon.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
