It was announced yesterday that Paul Reubens aka Pee Wee Herman passes away at the age of 70 after quietly battling cancer.

He was completely committed to his character, doing all of his public appearances and interviews as Pee-wee. He produced and wrote a feature film, Pee Wee’s Big adventure in 1985 which was directed by Tim Burton.
Between 1986 and 1990, Paul created Pee Wee’s Play house.
