Four Halifax area bands went toe to toe on Friday night on week three of The Rising Surge battle of the bands.
When the dust settled at the end of the night Diamond City had scored the victory by a half point. By far our closest competition so far heading to the finale on March 31st.
The enthusiastic crowd at Montes Showbar and Grill was treated to some great performances from Lizard the Bird, Chester Doom, and Elora’s Garden.
Diamond City will now be one of four bands competing for a $5,000 recording session at Sonic Temple Studios on Friday, March 31st. Topless Models and The Royal Volts have also advanced to the finals.
