Nova Scotia RCMP responded to three fatal collisions and one serious crash with life-threatening injuries over the weekend.
The Mounties say the collisions happened in four different counties and investigators believe they’re related to excessive speed and distracted driving.
One of the collisions occurred in a construction zone, which resulted in several workers getting hurt.
RCMP say the main factors leading to a serious crash are aggressive, distracted, and impaired driving as well as not wearing a seatbelt.
They say when you travel at safe speeds, stay focused, drive sober, and wear your seatbelt you help to keep everyone safe.
