The re-trial for former Dalhousie med student, William Sandeson, begins today
The 30 year old, is accused of fatally shooting, fellow student, 22 year old Taylor Samson in August of 2015.
He allegedly disposed of Samson’s body after a drug deal in downtown Halifax.
The trial in 2017 was overturned on appeal and a second trial was ordered in 2020, facing the same charge.
