Surge 105 celebrated their first birthday late last week and Sully hit the Halifax Waterfront over the weekend to see how people were celebrating.

Some surveyed had never heard of Surge 105 while many others thought we played non-stop electronica and or religious hits.
Either way, though, we’re just glad to see the masses were out celebrating our milestone in the sun. Were they celebrating us or perhaps some occasion? That much is unclear.
What could be confirmed this weekend though is that the Haligonians we encountered were in a great mood and that most of them had in fact heard of us before (for better for for worse).
Chalk that up as a medium to major win! Happy Birthday Surge.
