A 17-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a transport truck in Halifax on Monday.
Halifax Regional Police were called to Dunbrack Street near the exit ramps to Highway 102 at around 4:30 p.m.
The teenager was taken to hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
Investigators are looking to speak with the driver as the truck was not at the scene when they arrived.
The transport truck is described as being smaller, blue, and was towing an empty heavy equipment flatbed trailer.
Police say their thoughts are with the teen’s family and everyone impacted by the tragedy.
