Being a history buff Atlantic Canada is a gold mine! Sometimes literally!
There is a bevy of important, historical locations scattered throughout the Maritimes. I remember one summer my family took me to a bunch of the historical homes and locations around the province. I had a blast, and didn’t realize I was learning stuff.
Historic Places Days kicks off today and runs until July 31st. Popping in to some of these amazing locations is the perfect summer activity for the whole family.
