A Halifax taxi driver has been charged with sexual assault.
Police say they received a report on May 23rd alleging the driver had picked up a fare downtown and sexually assaulted her.
Investigators took the 50-year-old into custody on Tuesday without incident.
Marwan Al Ali is scheduled to appear in Halifax Court at a later date.
