A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in the city.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the collision on the Bedford Highway near the Windsor Street exchange at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police say the driver of the motorcycle has what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The Bedford Highway at Windsor Street has been closed to outbound traffic.
Traffic exiting the Mackay Bridge is being redirected to Massachusetts Avenue.
Police advise you to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
