It’s the summer equinox, also known as the longest day of the year, so we decided to go out on a limb and count down the Best Long’s and Long Things Ever.
#5. Foot Long Hot Dogs
Nothing beats a juicy foot long on a hot day. Throw a ball game into the mix and you’re in absolute heaven. As this guy was above. Clearly.

Very few can pass off the 1980’s flat top haircut in this current day and age. Howie isn’t one for following the trends though – he sets them! We salute you Howie.
#3. Very Long Fish
Jeff Brown thinks this should be higher on the list and he’s probably not wrong. Here he is with a 20lb northern pike. We think he threw it back. Maybe.
#2. Our Favourite Long Movie
Wolf of Wall Street runs about three hours long which by all accounts is an extremely long movie. Marty Scorsese and Leo did a masterful job though and the “longness” of it all just breezes right by.
#1. The Long John Eclair doughnut
The Long John is hard to beat, but the Long John Eclair could be the greatest doughnut in all of existence. It not only takes the cake, it tops our list.
