For awhile now The Rock has been saying the the hierarchy of the DC Universe was going to change.
Based on out first look at Black Adam, he was not lying.
This character, with all the same powers as Shazam, is one of the best anti-heroes in comics. He has a complicated back story that shapes his view of the world and his place in it.
This film will also see some other classic DC characters making their big screen debuts. We also get to see members of the Justice Society of America, Doctor Fate, Hawkman, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone, battling Black Adam.
