The province ended the proof of vaccine policy Monday as part of the plan to drop restrictions altogether by March 21.
Halifax Regional Municipality followed suit.
The city stopped requiring proof of vaccine to use fitness centres or take part in recreation activates.
It went one step further, ending the vaccination requirement for staff, students, volunteers, and suppliers Monday.
Halifax put unvaccinated workers on unpaid leave, and required all new hires to be fully vaccinated, in October.
