A child has escaped from an apparent attempted abduction in Dartmouth.
Police say the 8-year-old was playing in a field near Princess Margaret Boulevard.
They say a man approached the child and asked them to go with him. When the child refused the man tried to grab the child, and the kid ran away.
The man is described as in his 30’s, bald, and was wearing a white tank top and black sweatpants.
