Good News Everyone!!!!! Hulu has finalized deals for 20 new episodes of ‘Futurama’ for a 2023 premiere!
While they use Bender to promote the revival, He won’t be a part of it!!! John DiMaggio who is the voice of Bender, among half a dozen characters won’t be partaking. The role is currently being recast ahead of the first table read on Monday. The decision was made after DiMaggio’s negotiations with Futurama studio 20th Television Animation came to a standstill though there is a desire on both sides to have him rejoin the cast and reprise his role.
Yes, you read that right…RECASTING BENDER!!! What’s the point?
Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman will all be returning!
