The prices at the pumps went up a little bit at midnight in Nova Scotia.
Gas went up 1.9 cents, bringing the average price in Halifax to $1.36.4 per litre.
Diesel has been steadily going up in the new year, now the average price per litre is around $1.81 after the price went up another 1.6 cents.
