A Sunday evening outage has left Nova Scotia Power customers without electricity in the Musquodoboit Valley and along the Eastern Shore.
In a social media post, the utility said the outage is affecting customers from Ship Harbour to Little Liscomb.
The utility’s outage map shows one outage zone affecting 1,596 customers in the Musquodoboit Valley area, and a second zone affecting 2,760 customers around Ship Harbour.
Both outages began at about 6:50 p.m. on Sunday.
Nova Scotia Power says crews are working to restore service and estimates power will return by around 10:30 p.m., though that timeline may change as work continues.
The utility says the cause of both outages is still being investigated.
