Yes, it’s only October 15th. But, there’s lots of talk today on social media about the ‘Parade of Lights’. Traditionally, the parade cruises through the streets of Downtown Halifax towards the end of November…however…there has been no word about the 2024 edition.
As Haligonia says, the leading potential reason of no announcement is the acquisition of SaltWire (Who ran The Chronicle Herald) by Postmedia. Let alone, a good chunk of DT Halifax streets are under construction. We’ll see if more news comes out in the near future.
